The summer of 2017 has been a dry one for the Milk River watershed! With prolonged lows on precipitation, record consecutive highs for temperature, and higher than average wind, a large portion of the watershed has been classified as a D4 Drought.
The MRWA has put together a monthly status report that compiles USGS streamflow data, US BOR reservoir storage levels, precipitation data, soil moisture maps, and drought monitor updates within one document. The report is updated to capture snapshots of each month, to allow stakeholders a look at the state of the watershed, and help identify future conditions. If you would like to sign up to receive the monthly report, please enter you email into the box below, or email Casey at email@example.com.
